To continue the conversations about gender and gaming that Regina started during her research, she started a podcast called Game on Girl. I've actually been working on a new weekly series on my blog that features ideas for games to Gift or to get your yourself. I've recently done a post on my Top 10 Favorite Board Games of all time. This list has a ton of great gamer-friendly style tabletop board games including some hard to find out of print games too. I've also done articles on my favorite card games too. Seems like we may have slightly similar tastes, so be sure to check out the ones that I love as well. Great show!
What a great collection of games in your list! It was funny – I was going to mention diplomacy in this episode and didn't because I wasn't sure how many people had played it. Talk about a ruthless game! Love it!
Thanks for checking out the show and sharing a link! I will be checking your site for more recommendations. 🙂
PS I totally own Hero's Quest.
